If Moorhead is fired at the end of the season, who are some realistic candidates for the job?

If we got Norvell I would have an instant chub. Won’t happen though

Bill Clark at UAB has done a great job getting that program looking good again after their one year hiatus.

You think you’re firing him after just two years?

Botch Jones would bring in some decent croots.

Hell hiring your RBs coach Knox is an upgrade. He beat a Top 25 Louisville team in a bowl game with grad assistants

I would take Bill Clark in a heartbeat. I like Norvell, but there's a difference between keeping a program executing at a high level and building from almost literally the ground up.

unless you can get a truly brilliant mind like Mullen, why even bother? State just can't do any better. State is not knocking Bama or LSU or Auburn down.

I'm not sure what Miss State is expecting. It's a bottom feeder of a football program. State fans didn't even appreciate Mullen. Why would any big name coach or up and coming coach take that job?
