Two tidbits:
From the statute that he was arrested for:
"3. Leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident is a class A misdemeanor, except that it shall be a class D felony if the accident resulted in:
(1) Physical injury to another party; or
(2) Property damage in excess of one thousand dollars; or
(3) If the defendant has previously pled guilty to or been found guilty of a violation of this section."
AND
"Initial damage was estimated at more than $1,000, according to the probable cause statement. No one was hurt in the collision. Berkstresser later admitted his involvement in the incident."
Doesn't look good if Franklin misses some of the season, as Corbin very well may be kicked off the team.

As long as he's cooperative, or already has a record, don't you think they'll plead that down? I don't know the circumstances, but I would think he could get that reduced unless there's more we don't know. Sometimes damage looks really minor, but is really expensive to fix. Who knows? I just hope Franklin continues to recover quickly, or we could have either a 4th stringer or a true freshman as a QB. That would truly suck.
