Yes! That way we can keep our "traditional" rivalry with Arky going...

I personally liked the addition of Mizzou as the 3rd punching bag to the East. Auburn will eventually resurrect themselves so I'm fine with them staying where they are.
Mizzou is no more of a punching bag than SC has been for 15 of their 21 years in the conference. I give SC props for where they are now, but Mizzou is no worse off than SC was when they joined.

I say pick up 2 east teams, move Mizzou to the west, play 9 conf. games, one perm. cross div. game and rotate one "PCDG" yearly.

All is good dbt. I do recall Slive's comments and I recall him talking about not wanting 2 teams from the same state, which makes the move west almost impossible. Take your choice of OU/OSU coupled with either kU/KSU. Problem is all those schools are coupled together, none of those states add as much as far as TV sets and none of the schools outside of OU are all that attractive. In a backwards way, I was just getting to the point that any growth should be in the east.

Actually we agreed to upgrade your conference and allow the rest of you to play us.
BTW haven't received your thank you card yet.

Right, population/TV market. North Carolina recently replaced New Jersey as 10th most populous state.
Supposedly the Grant of Rights deal has made it financially irresponsible to leave ACC so I think 14 will be our number for at least a decade...which is fine.

No doubt.

A: UK, UT, Vandy, Scar, UGA, Bama, Aub
B: Ark, Mo, TA&M, LSU, Ole Miss, MSU, UF
8 game schedule with only permanent cross over game of UF/UGA. Is it really that bad for the Gators? They lose annually games with Vols and Scar but big flip, they pick up Texas A&M which is good for the tv folks.

I like the 2-12 split.
1. LSU, UK...play each other 10 times
2. Everybody else. Have all the rival games under the sun.

This is what I was thinking but I would be okay with Alabama having a "special waiver" to have Auburn and Tennessee as permeant opponents.
I don't forsee any of the other schools having a problem with this. It would be like UF playing UGA & Florida State each year. Remaining schools would schedule as desired
I also like the idea of expanding West. Kansas & Kansas State would be a big boost in Basketball but not as much of a threat in Football to make the conference unbearable. I'm sure Mizzou and aTm would be happy to have them

Bama - LSU
UGA - UF
SC - A&M
Aub - Ark
UT - OM
Vandy - MSU
UK - MU
Seems fairly balanced competitively. Adds a lot of travel for UF. Suppose there's going to be some evil in any change.

Just flip Auburn and Mizzou and everything will be fine. Actually we should quit playing cross division games yearly and rotate everything.
Bama's 2016 schedule
OOC chump team
OOC chump team
OOC chump team
OOC chump team
Ole Miss
Arky
MSU
Uga
A&M
Fla
SC
LSU
Just a temporary schedule until something more permanent is realized.

Don't think it's smart to pick up both of them. The state is a wasteland as it is and to pick up 2 schools with 0 population in it doesn't make sense. I get what you're saying from an on-field persective, but I just don't think it makes sense to add both.

I'm fine without them. Maybe if kU hadn't acted all butthurt at the behest of Texas.

I'm pretty much the same way SEC. Although, I do have say, it would be kind of fun watching the pain being inflicted on kU on the football field. UK would beat kU by 20, can you imagine what would happen if they had to play Bama and LSU in back to back weeks.
