Worst game/loss I ever attended was the 2000 USM game. Shutout at home 21-0.
Record may be one-sided but it seems they were always a tough out.

I've attended all 3 losses as well as tie. The most surreal one was the 1982 loss which the first loss at Bryant-Denny since 1963. I was a student then and it was only the second time in my lifetime that Bama lost there. It was also Bryant's last game at BDS.

Southern Miss: 3-30-1
Ole Miss: 2-22
Mississippi State: 2-30

apparently, they are the team from Mississippi we have played the most despite the other 2 being in the same conference

I was at one of the Ole Miss wins. We kicked bamas butt. I think won by 17 or more and it was bear Bryant day or something

Mississippi State is Alabama's most played opponent, while Alabama is MSU's third most played team behind Ole Miss and LSU. Apparently not partner.

lulz at blaming Skip

Nick wanted to scratch that NFL itch and that's all there was to it. No different than Spurrier or Chip Kelly.

I think very few people in 2004 were predicting that Nick was a lock to win half a dozen more nattys.

With hindsight, it's real easy to say Skip should have thrown Fort Knox at Nick as though that would have kept him from wondering how he'd do at the next level.
