While MSU has the dumbest offensive coach in America, the defense the past 2 seasons is the reason why MSU had a chance to beat Alabama these past two seasons(and yes they had a "shot" this season, it's just that Moorhead is an idiot).

It is also no secret that Clemson has always wanted to be like Mississippi State. This is from Thomas Clemson the founder:

quote:

In his will, Clemson explicitly stated he wanted the school to be modeled after what is now Mississippi State University: "This institution, I desire, to be under the control and management of a board of trustees, a part of whom are hereinafter appointed, and to be modeled after the Agricultural College of Mississippi as far as practicable."

As they copied MSU in its entireity, it is fitting that they copied MSUs defensive gameplan in order to win. While obviously doing the exact opposite of what MSU did offensively all season. Any team that lost to Moorhead last season is a joke.

They won because of their defense and offense. That offense scored 44 points. Any defense that could hold Bama under 44 points could have won that game with that offense.

My stance has not changed since he lost to Kentucky and he has shown nothing in order to show anything other than the fact that he is out of his league

I wish we’d show ourselves how to beat Bama while we’re showing others.

No. It’s anither MSU Reach thread. The op pulled his latissimus Dorsi typing it.

The off-season is to blame for this.

Moorehead didn’t have the qb he wants for his offense. He’s a well known solid offensive mind so if I were a state fan I would wait and see what he can do when he gets the qb that better suits his offensive attack.

If you are going to go by that reasoning then Bama should blame Arkansas for laying out the "how to move the ball" against Alabama game plan.

The Tide still hammered us into the ground but supposedly Dabo talked to his buddy Chad and used what we did. Only Clemson has a lot more firepower.

Thank God subsequent Clemson administrations raised the standard.

Since that game? It just proved how inconsistent he was. Yeah he can drive up the game plan to beat Alabama, but he can drop a game or 2 or struggle with someone that will make you scratch your head. He did that at Florida too with his Missouri and Kentucky losses.

Mullen is making Florida great and will have much better success in the SEC East. But if he continues to drop the questionable ones, it'll cost him titles.

I didn't write the article. The author of the article claimed we showed Clemson how to beat Alabama.
