Considering the potential effect of a late fall peak of the coronavirus, students will begin classes on August 17. The commencement is set for November 25 in Starkville and December 1 at MSU-Meridian.

Gumbo is no more a LA invention than chicken tacos, they just like it and have tried to steal it from the African-Americans in one of the greatest cultural heist of all time.

The slaves in the south were eating gumbo for centuries before the boatloads of poor assed starving Acadians turned up looking for worthless land to settle on.

Kind of makes sense since after Thanksgiving you only have like 3 actual class days before finals start

I think Auburn and Alabama are doing the same except online finals after Thanksgiving. At least that’s what I heard last.

I don't know about Auburn, but Alabama won't make the damn call yet. My daughter is starting in the fall and tons of people are asking that question since most schools have taken that approach: over at Thanksgiving. Out of state mamas and daddies are trying figure out when to buy plane tickets to bring their kids home and Bama won't give them a straight answer.
