Mississippi State has the worst fanbase in the nation

Its always been this way.
We have KJ Costello seriously considering transferring to State from Stanford. A five star recruit that NFL scouts say is a possible first rounder. Someone who threw for 3500 yards and 29 touchdowns in a season.
And we have fans not only on the message boards saying they don't want him, but goin on his social media profile and telling him directly.
Look, I get that Tommy Stevens was a graduate transfer that didn't work out. But he was a career backup. Costello is a proven commodity. He might not work out either, but Costello has a much better resume than Stevens.
The love for Garrett Sharader is legit as well - he played hard this past season under really awful circumstances, but if you as a fan cannot see that Costello gives us an opportunity to win some games next season, I have no idea how to help you.
There may not be an SEC program that wouldn't take Costello. And our fans are tweeting at him that we don't want him. Awful.

Costello is too good for State. The fans are just hastening the inevitable. They're like mom's basement gremlins that a hot girl once glanced at out of pity. They'll never have her so they make fun of her.
