All because Mississippi has a stupid Confederate State flag. Change the State flag and the Landers Center in Southhaven hosts that game. Instead we had a road game to a 2 seed with a big WBB Fanbase since the NCAA caters to big fanbases in WBB

Mississippi would have never hosted that game, regardless of the flag.

We were about the 4th or 5th best team this year.

Incorrect. Jackson wouldn't have but South Haven would've.

Well....that's part of it maybe....but just once I would love to see a State team win the big one when the opportunity arises....last year's women's team was screwed by the refs and there is no way that can be debated....but football, basketball, baseball all had their moments...and all have come up short...but congrats to all of them for the great season!!

No, it’s true. And I can tell you that Oregon having that game at fking home got away with murder, mostly first half. The officials played into the hands of the fans. They were litterally HOLDIND Teaira down low to keep her from rebounding. I call it like I see it and that was total BS.

That's not why. The sweet 16/elite 8 sites are at neutral venues just like the men's game. The west region just happened to be in Portland this year.

Our fans were complaining about fouls as well. They let them play physical and I would think that helps you. Anyway, it was a great game.

Our ladies did far better than I exected in year one without A'ja. This incoming class is just unbelievable. Loaded is putting it mildly.
