Scrolling through the first page of the board and not one thread about an UGA fan throwing a stuffed animal onto the court that drew a Tech that costed them the game.

Plenty of threads on it. Sorry you must have been distracted by the melt.

Interestingly.......
The stuffed animal was bought in 1980 and handed down through generations of UGA fans.

I was at La Tech baseball game tonight and wasn't perusing through the board

You claim it cost them the game? There was ONE HALF (.5) seconds on the clock and we were shooting Freethrows.

the FT made was the tech. He missed the first FT and we will never know if he would have made the second.

This is a LSU site & LSU lost tonight. You really think anyone cares about the stuffed bulldog - that a fan of either team could've thrown??

Q rarely misses a FT so odds are he makes the next one anyway. The 2ND Tech FT he missed was on purpose to kill the clock. That’s why he bounced it back off the rim.
Anyway, to say “The technical cost UGA the game” is not accurate, that’s all I’m saying. I mean lets assume the unlikely happened and we went to OT, was UGA going to win it then? Is that also a for sure conclusion?

they certainly would have had a better chance than being down 1 with .5 on the clock.

I watched him miss the front end and the tech FT hit every part of the rim before dropping.

You trying so hard not to show your melt. I can sense the pain.

how the frick am I melting over a State/UGA game?
I am simply stating facts. You are the one trying to rationalize how the tech FT had no bearing on the win over a shitty UGA team.

Q shoots 83% FT.
Does Q's FT count as one of his many last second buzzer beater wins

Well now that I know this is a technical foul, I’m going to start bringing stuffed animals to away games and when LSU has the last possession and the game is tied or LSU is losing, then I’m going to throw it onto the court to make it look like the home teams fans threw it

Just dropped by to say THANKS for the FREEBIE!
to the dumbass Georgia fan who couldn't control his/her passion for a 1-15 team

Sorry man, you LSU fans went in full meltdown mode last night and bumped everything to the 2nd page. There were 3 or 4 threads about the GA/State ending.

That’s the only thing I don’t understand about that call. How do we know it was a UGA fan? It could have been an MSU fan (obviously I don’t think it was) and now fans can kind of cheat the system and give their team an advantage. Is the rule, whenever something is thrown onto the court that whichever team is on defense at the time gets the tech or is it the home team who will always get the tech?

Yep, always. It's the home teams responsibility to ensure the safety of the players. Do y'all want nets up everywhere like a baseball game, 'cause this is how you get ceiling to floor nets surrounding basketball courts. It wouldn't be unprecedented. There's a reason basketball players were called "cagers" at one time

Well then based off of the results of last night, I expect to see some away fans take advantage of the system

I'm not brave enough to fling something out on the PMAC floor, trying to get LSU to lose a game
Like I said earlier, Good Luck with the arse-beatings
