Miss State Fans, Do you really think your defense won't regress?

Especially after losing 3 first round draft picks? Just surprised to see so much confidence.

I expect to MSU to still be solid defensively but many are kidding themselves if they don't see a drop off...

I haven’t seen a single state fan say their defense won’t regress besides the welcher, who I don’t really count. Quite the opposite actually.

I mean seriously do ya'll want us to talk stupid shite? Quit making dumb shite up... the level of dumb on this board is endless

Will it be as good as last year? No. Will we still have a decent SEC caliber defense? I think so.

I mean obviously with as good as it was it's only going to have to get worse.
But people saying it's going to be the worst or whatever don't know what they're talking about. It'll still be top 20

We'll obviously regress... We had the #1 defense in the nation last year. Ask harder questions bro.

They were #1 last year. Of course they will regress (#2 would be regression). The question is how much. They lost a lot of pass rush, but not much else. I could see them around #25. So that's a regression, but still solid. I would be surprised if many of them feel differently than this.
So if they drop to 25ish on defense, but improve on offense (i.e. find a QB who can hit the broad side of a barn), what record does that equate to? I see a lot of them saying 8-4 or 9-3. That's not exactly crazy, or predicting a meaningful season, but still I think they're a game high. I think 7-5 or 8-4.

Of course not. Some of them thought losing Mullen meant nothing to the team . They have taken Arkansas’ spot are the fan base in the west that overrates there team yearly.

Okay Joshua. Hog fan, yet talk shite about Arkansas, and pumping MSU. Bad alter is bad.

So if I use facts instead of just being a retarded homer, then I must be an alter? Good call genius.
Sorry to break it to you, but we've been bad lately, and they've been a little above average. I dont expect the trend to reverse this season.
Let's see Morris win more than 2 games in a season before we get all excited. I mean, we're moving one of our most questionable linemen from last year to center this, and relying on JUCO at tackle. We got sacked every 12.5 plays last year, and LOST 3 linemen to the NFL. how does that make us better up front? Oh I know, it was the QBs fault and another team's cast-off is coming in to save us. Yaaay us!

I'd just say that they've taken advantage of the down years for Arkansas. Arkansas used to be the team in the west that had a pretty decent team every year, with a great one every few years. State has just taken advantage of Arkansas's slide.

Not sure where that’s coming from, but most of us expect to finish between 20th-30th on defense, which is regression. Quit making shite up

Right? Just seen posters say there would be very little drop off on defense after losing 3 1st round draft picks.
