Looking forward to seeing MSU's band in the upper deck

LSU actually gives over 2500 prime seats to visitors...talking about lower bowl corner SEZ seats. I don't believe ANY SEC team gives that many...granted the other 4000 or so are located on the very top rows of the SIDELINE upper decks.
At Ole MS you get rickety bleacher EZ seats with 2 bathrooms for 4000 people ! No room for rebs to bitch here.
When the new SEZ upper deck is completed for the 2014 season...LSU will also be giving out among the worst visitor seats...about time in my opinion.

You forgot about the ones we give from the 20 to the goal line on the away side close to the away team tunnel. there isnt a bad seat in ole miss' stadium in terms of being able to see the game.

Except when you buy tickets for nice seats, four months in advance, and then they are revoked when Ole Miss "season ticket holders" decide the bears might be good. That shite pissed me off. I had to go and scalp tickets and only got the "standing room only".

You should. Because that means our AD wants our fans to be in the best possible seats. Not the band.

I went to T-town last year and they aren't that bad. In the corner yes, but ok seats for on the road.
Then either you are very high up on the priority list for Arkie away tickets or Arkie didn't sell very many for that game. I went to Tuscaloosa last year and we were way the frick up in the top of one corner of the end zone. They had a small section of LSU fans in one corner of the lower bowl, then the rest divided among the four corners of the end zone at the very top of the upper decks.

Miss St and Ole Miss returns Bama game tickets??

I don't think State and OM returned tickets. The athletic department is selling a few single game tickets in the south zone club area for those games though.
Correct. The returned tickets were from the OTHER three cupcakes that Bama has coming in.
No, the OP is correct. Separate and apart from the single game tickets advertised that the other poster mentioned, Tide Pride members today got an email offering Ole MIss and Miss. State tickets...up to a pair per order. These are tickets that would have been returned.

The hell there isn't. Those flimsy damned bleachers in the end zone suck. You're too low to get any angle to see where the runner got to. Did he gain 5? Lose 3? Hard to tell from those seats.

According to Coonass Bulldog, that scrapheap is far superior to Oxford, and one of the best towns and gameday experiences in the country. Go on. Just ask him.

Since Gameday will be there for 2 undefeated teams- we're going to watch it on ESPN
Even if both are undefeated, which I think is very realistic, it would be a longshot to host Gameday. The other games that day that might be under consideration...
Notre Dame @ Oklahoma
Florida vs. Georgia
Michigan State @ Wisconsin
Michigan @ Nebraska
I'd bet on any of those except maybe Florida-Georgia over MSU-Bama. If I had to bet today which game will host it, I'd bet on Michigan-Nebraska.

Gameday isn't going to be in Tuscaloosa for the Mississippi State game. Good lord. They will have already hosted one Alabama game at that point, in Fayetteville. And would likely be in Baton Rouge the next weekend.

I was in one of those seats by the LSU band on the second row from the field right in front of the cheerleaders where LSU made the stop on the goal line to win the game. The badger broke up the attempted td pass. If the qb at State had lobed the pass, State would have beat LSU.

There is just no way possible that State would need to return tickets.
Did MSU return LSU tickets also? MSU is part of the various miniplan options LSU has been offering. I was just assuming those were all returned tickets.

quote:A&M might not win much on the football field this year, but we'll win this contest hands down. You have a really nice view of the south endzone bleachers from the seats in sections 100 and 149. The football field, unfortunately, begins about 20 yards further to your left.
Your visitor section is the worst in the SEC, unless you love that authentic blimp-like view.

I will agree with this if the end zone bleachers I sat in way back in 1998 are still in use.
Very high schoolish.
But I'm told they are raising money to close in the north end zone with something more permanent.

State was doing mini plan tickets the last several years too but I don't think that has any bearing on weather or not the visiting teams sold their allotment. It was an option to buy three home games cause a lot of people don't have the points towards season tickets. I usually buy the mini plan route cause it will get you one good SEC team, one decent/mediocre SEC team and one rent a win. Then I will buy single game for any other ones I want to or can go to. I work every other weekend like just about everyone else in healthcare so season tickets are useless to me
