It's more likely that Miles will get off completely than it is that Miller will get arrested.

Now that they're done, Alabama fans are going to pretend they didn't support a murder accomplice playing on their team.

Underated post. And this individual, despite his Coach, did not contribute much to the game. All in all, Bama in this showed their true colors.

murder accomplice
There hasn’t been a piece of evidence released to this point that shows that Miller had the required intent to meet the elements of an accomplice to murder. Whether his actions were morally wrong or not, calling him an accomplice to murder is factually and legally incorrect.

Do you feel good about writing this sentence?

There’s nothing to feel good or bad about. In order to charge him as an accomplice, he had to have the intent to aid in the commission of the murder. Evidence has not been produced showing he had that intent. As I’ve said, Miller should not have put himself in that situation, but that doesn’t make his actions rise to the level of being criminal.

Notice that only Bama fans think this kid did nothing wrong?

I’ve said multiple times that he shouldn’t have been involved in that situation. If I had been head coach, I probably would’ve sat him for at least a couple of games. But again, from a legal standpoint (and I say this as a lawyer in Alabama), based on current evidence there is nothing that Miller can be charged with. Maybe other evidence will come out that changes that, but that’s where things stand right now.

Maybe he shouldn't have been playing basketball given the events and justifying it because there's insufficient evidence for local pd to charge doesn't make it any better.
Hopefully SDSU pushing your faces in tonight will make you evaluate how much work you're willing to do to justify this kind of shite.

See my above post. I said that I probably would’ve sat him for at least a couple of games. I don’t control whether he plays, though.

I haven’t justified his actions. As I’ve said, my posts about the situation have basically been limited to discussing the legal aspect of the situation because that’s something I have actual knowledge about. I think Miller was wrong to involve himself in a situation like this, but again, that doesn’t make his actions criminal from a legal standpoint.

Imagine covering for an accessory to murder so you can go to the Sweet 16. Pathetic.

Well no. Also the district attorney, the police, many defense attorneys who have been interviewed about this, fans of other schools who aren't total hacks, etc.
