Because both parties want a graceful exit. UF would be squeezed really hard given Mullen's buyout is already sizable and White's is yuuuuuge. White wants a chance to start over with a clean slate. There have been rumors that this would be White's/UF's strategy. I thought he'd go a school out of conference tho.
