This guy will be the funniest interview and steal press conferences. Ole Miss got a lot of shite from State fans on Longo’s 10 plays. He got it from Leach. MS State’s success has been running game and defense. Your new coach brings neither. He’s bringing no names in on his staff and this guy is supposed to be great? Give him a few years and he could but this transition will be hell for y’all

I think Leach is going to be eaten alive in the SEC.

But he’ll still give funny press conferences while doing it.

I expected him to fill his staff with experience and with guys that can recruit. He dropped the ball on staff hires imo. He has to beat Lane and company for the Mississippi kids and from what we know as of now, that is gonna be a tall order. I know Leach doesn't need five star talent at quarterback and receiver to get the job done but he will need blue chip guys in the front seven on defense. I like State and I will enjoy watching Leach and his offense but I am a little worried about a slow start for him.

Leach has always had his issues with recruiting. He's great at the Xs and Os but not so hot with the Jimmys and Joes. It will be interesting to see how he does in the SEC.

Just curious what your criteria for this is? Is it just straight recruiting rankings? Or is it weighted at all with where he was and the recruiting normally brought in by that school?

He recruited to Texas Tech better than they have done since. And he recruited at Washington State better than they had done prior. If he just holds mostly steady at State in the 22-30 range then he will have the most talented team he has ever had.

Those guys that were interviewing him were definitely touching themselves while he talked
