Even though Texas and Ou and certain other Sec teams have known about the weirdness of this cult tradition, it seems that the rest of the college football world, and the national media in general, has finally become privy to this embarrassing weirdness.
Ever since Aggy got that #1 recruiting class, the lights have shone brighter on college station than ever before. And now that the light is on them, it’s clear that Aggy is not built for the big stage.
With their big brothers coming into the conference within the next few years, and their increasing embarrassment of themselves and the SEC as a whole, it may be time to seriously have conversations about giving Aggy the boot back to the Big 12, a league more appropriate for their level of competition and program prestige.

Why kick them out? They bring a lot of money, they're not really a threat to win a title, and more often than not they represent a pretty winnable game.
I think teams like A&M are perfect expansion candidates--teams that are good enough to bring lots of money and dedicated fanbases, but not good enough to really upset the applecart.

They do bring the money. But they bring just as much embarrassment to the conference.
The question is, does the amount of money they bring in out weigh the amount of embarrassment?

I got some viewer’s remorse with the expansion to 14 for sure.
I wish the old Big 12 could reunite but let Texas go independent and pick up TCU instead. Texas can afford to be an independent, and the Big 12 would probably still be a viable conference without them (and would definitely be a much happier conference). Then the SEC could stay at 12. But money talks and reason walks.

If we had to expand, I would have liked an eastern expansion into North Carolina and Virginia, but that's how it goes

The simultaneous [leg lift + arm grab + bad punchline + weird voice intonation] is the strangest and cringiest thing I've ever seen. Rival schools should show this to prospective recruits.
