Ole Miss will make a stop in Hattiesburg tonight to play USM on their way to Baton Rouge for a key series with LSU this weekend.

looking forward to the series as well. hate to hear that about your ace, I hope you don't replace him with a leftie. Ole Miss struggles mightily with southpaw pitchers. however, we eat righties for lunch.

Ouch. We have an ugly, and I do mean ugly, loss to UALR early in the season. It seems like everyone gets one of those early midweek meltdown games. Late in the season though you hope take care of business.
Texass losing couldn't happen to a more deserving University.

That midweek loss to north alabama has probably cost Ole Miss 8 or 10 spots in RPI.

Doubtful. When LSU lost to Southern (they were around 200 RPI), they only dropped 2 spots in the RPI. Single games like that don’t typically have as big an effect as you’d think

Right. It isn't great by any means, but it being baseball I think its understood that everyone is going to have one of those early WTF midweek games.

Georgia broke their losing streak but they have a big series with Florida this weekend. The Gators seem to be waking up a little bit now and I think it's going to be a tough series.
