Statement from #Mizzou: Michael Porter, Jr. will undergo surgery on Tuesday, Nov. 21, in Dallas, Texas. The procedure, a microdiscectomy of the L3-L4 spinal discs, has a projected recovery time of three-four months and will likely cause him to miss the remainder of the season

Sounds like he'll be fine.

But back surgery is never a good thing.

Hopefully he recovers fully from the surgery. You have to think with his talent level he is probably a one and done kid so I don't think he'll be returning to Missouri.

A real blow to their program to lose him like that.

We are Mizzou, so it hardly surprises me. Feel for the kid though.
