Met a guy who played for Butch in Cincy

Offensive lineman.
Said he was one of the biggest pricks you could ever play for. He and his former teammates apparently had mass group text with dyke memes for him like the rant lol. Apparently his whole love the players thing is a show. I wanted to get more info but had to head back to work. Figured Tenn fans would like to know his former players hate him as much as you guys it seems.
Also said Tommy was really awesome to play for but wasn't fully engaged a lot. Like he was just there to be there and have fun.

It's a shame these players never have the guts to put out this information while a coach is still there.

It wouldn't accomplish anything and would just do damage to the person saying such things.
Because any person in authority positions is going to grab hate from those under them to some degree. So you'd need like the entire team or large groups of people doing it before anyone would take notice.
Otherwise, they will just be written off as the type that reacts negatively to authority.

Butch followed Brian Kelly at his two previous gigs before UT.
I know UT was down to about candidate #6 the year they hired Butch but a little more analysis of his cv would have shown the guy had not accomplished anything as a HC except to piggyback on the success Kelly had built at two different schools.
