Why are you guys building this when you can't fill your stadium currently?

Seems like a waste of money. You guys gotta stop taking meth.

What’s it supposed to look like when completed? I tried to google it, but got like 5 different prototypes.

And I’m just wondering because of these posters hatin on yalls expansion...
Is it supposed to fit more people? All the prototypes look like it would fit less people, but more luxurious seating.

Actually, seating capacity is going to be slightly decreased but the Athletic Department will make much more money because suites are taking up the space of what were cheap season tickets for the same area. BTW, we make the meth here and ship it down south.

I went to two Florida-Missouri games up there and those bleachers were pretty uncomfortable in that endzone -- not to mention the concourse was awkward and small. I hope they're renovating that too.

They have floated several different designs-I am not even sure what they have settled on.

The concourse in that end zone won't be there anymore, but you are right that it was not nearly wide enough and awkward. The concourse along the sidelines isn't changing, and is not nearly wide enough, but there's not much they can do about that at this point. I guess I'm not certain, but I think the bleachers are equally awful throughout the entire stadium although they do have some new seating above the east sideline main level so it's at least possible those aren't quite as bad.

The seats that are going away (this makes me think of the other thread on here about season tickets at Ole Miss and A&M) were $279 w/no donation, so they were a pretty fantastic deal. Obviously, with suites making up the bulk of the seating in this area moving forward, revenue will go up quite a bit even though capacity is going down, but the main reason to do this was to give the football team their own facilities on-site instead of across the street where they currently have to share with everybody else.

That Tiger Deck looks like a fun place to watch the game.

Looks nice. Kinda like a cross between what Clemson, and Mississippi State did with their end zones. The only knock on it I have is Hale it meshes into the rest of the stadium. Is it connected or just an entire separate building?

yes. They will also be serving cold chicken fingers from Wal-Mart on china plates when Ole Miss comes to town.

I thought Georgia travelled well, we expect you to fill the place and pay handsomely doing it.

Also, capacity is being reduced as a result of this renovation - we don't need more seats.
