Mel Kiper still has not updated his 2020 draft rankings. Has Burrow at #2

If you need a pass rusher, then Burrow isn't #1.

Draft ranking =/= draft order. There’s nothing wrong with his list.

I think he looks like a Q tip

So, you think. Chase Young should rank higher than Joe? Seriously?

Above-average QBs are way more valuable to a franchise than a generational defensive player, and I played defense. That is THE pivotal position.

Teams with insane defenses still can't win without a good QB. The only team I have ever seen win a championship with an average QB is 2012 Bama.

Burrow had perfected the most important position on the field.

its hard to imagine Burrow not going 1, even if SOMEHOW cincy doesnt think he is the guy to replace the red rocket, I cant even imagine what they would get in exchange for trading the pick, it would definitely be a lot more than the chart indicates.

Miami LAC Carolina and Jacksonville all need a QB. Huge drop off after Tua, and given the injury id say theres a pretty big gap between burrow and Tua. if i was a GM needing a QB id want Burrow, or tank for Lawrence.

Chase Young is a much safer choice to be a top pro is why he’s #1 on this list.

if Kiper were an expert, a real team would have hired him long ago

There’s zero chance anyone other than Burrow goes #1. If the team picking first valued Young more, they’d trade back with the team with second pick. They’d still get their guy and would pick up additional assets.

Because that matters.

Will 50-7 hurt a little less if burrow doesn’t go to the bengals?

Still would be better than going to the browns and then being an absolute thug on national television.

Tannehill is actually playing stellar to the point that people are already talking about the possibility that his mediocrity at miami was due to miami and not him. If tennessee were to win the superbowl no one is going to call him a mediocre QB anymore. At worst people would compare him to Flacco.

Didn't he have like, 10 receivers in his top 32?

Kiper does a ranking, not an order.

They are literally LIVING it. Tannehill was above-average coming out. He has completely transformed that team.
