I think its high chance of it happening with 5 from each school. It's just amazing to think of the talent that both schools to have to be potentially responsible for 30% roughly of the 1st round picks when you consider how many players are in the draft. Then when you look about the previous years just how many players from some of the matches wound up in the nfl. The numbers just get stupid.
There were a couple of players from other SEC schools but nothing close to these 2. If you want to go to the NFL, I think these are the best 2 schools to get you there.

I love seeing these things. The conglomeration of all the top talent to a few select schools is great for college football

Agreed, 10 of the first 32 picks coming from LSU and Bama (5/5 split) is pretty damn ridiculous.
And since this is the SEC Rant, 17 of 32 from the SEC. That’s impressive on its own. Quick research shows SEC as a whole typically ranges from 8-12 1st round picks each year (from 2010 to 2019).

Stats will say that LSU and Bama will produce the most busts in this class too.

This is the result of Millennials being reared in group learning projects, etc...they don't have the sack to go some place an make their own mark.

I have no idea if this is accurate, but I’d bet some money that LSU/Bama have more draft picks between the two of them In the last 10 than potentially the entire Big 12. It’s pretty crazy.
ETA: I’m wrong. 146-236. I don’t feel like going back and looking, but I’d bet that margin gets thinner, proportionately, from 2015-2020.
