Athletes and non athletes victims are scared of them. Victims were scared to report abuse because of backlash from LSU fanbase.

Have LSU athletes gotten preferential treatment in sexual misconduct cases? Cases involving them are inherently different, Husch Blackwell says. Victims are more hesitant to come forward because of the power/cache that athletes have on campus/in the community.
