When we were offered a bowl game against texas, who we always considered our biggest rival, we took it in a heartbeat even though we were scheduled to play them later. We didn’t duck out on a game that was important to us. There’s no good excuse and who wouldn’t want to play that game.
Especially when it is close enough for the fanbase to follow. Now you have a basketball game no one cares about moving a football game where no one will attend against an opponent that most likely will kick your butt.
That’s a special kind of strategy right there….

Texas and Arkansas are at two different level!
Plus, what will we gain if we win the game against KU? Nothing. Texas you gain a lot and also good for recruiting. Kansas? Nothing at all!

Did you remember Texas did played Mizzou in a bowl when Odom was the HC? That was a good game even though Mizzou lost the game. Kansas on the other hand not much at all.

The matchup with Kansas might have been attractive to some viewers and more convenient for the fans, but enjoy the beach I guess.

I'm not making a comment on anyone's fanbase. Not sure how you got that out of my post.
As for the Antlers, I don't know if they have said anything racist or not, but I do know that they are dingleberries that annoy everyone, including me.
