Everyone though it was a foregone conclusion that he would transfer to Oregon the last half of the season. RR's offense did not suit him and the preference for JRP became clear. Still stuck around and went into games cold and gave his team a chance to win. Looks like it may pay off for him in Lane Kiffin's system.

Glad for this. Also glad Tisdale removed his name from the portal. Gonna be a pretty good competition. JRP will be slot/wildcat and other. Should be fun. Tight end will be used more also.

It’s funny the way people will argue with you about this. I get a good chuckle anytime Nick Fitzgerald is brought up as a QB. He wasn’t and isn’t. One guy even claimed Ole Miss derailed his career when he broke his ankle. As if they really believed he would sniff a real roster as QB in the NFL.

Isnit a forgone conclusion he will accept this role? The only reason we got him away from Georgia is we told him he could play quarterback and baseball.

I imagine Plumlee will get a shot at QB. I don't think he wins the job and hopefully he transitions to RB which is where I think his skill set is better suited.
A lot of people keep saying slot WR but I don't see it. He reminds me too much of Dexter McCluster, who was an okay WR but great RB.
