A little surprising. I thought he would stay and BJ Young would leave.

Hopefully Portis, Kingsley and Harris can more than pick up the slack for him...but we could miss his outside shot. With how bad our 3 point shooting was he was good at it for a big man

JJsticks will pick up the slack from behind the arc.

Hog fans were even talking about him coming back and playing the 3 finally.

Everyone wanted and assumed Young would declare, plus, he was higher up on the boards.

Our 3pt % will instantly go up without Young and Scott.

Jamal Jones could be a answer at the three point line next year.

He was talking about possibly coming back after the aTm game.

He has until April 28th to change his mind as long as he does not hire an agent.

Scott's % for 3 is actually good, he just doesn't shoot them that often, thank God.

Now Free throws.

He almost went pro last year. He has had two injuries and one was a season ending injury. Can't afford another injury while in college.

2nd team all SEC this year, was one of four unanimous selections to the SEC All-Freshman team selection in 2010 along with NBA first-round picks John Wall, Demarcus Cousins and Erik Bledsoe of Kentucky, and ended his first year in Fayetteville as the No. 3 scorer and No. 2 rebounder in school history by a freshman.

Powell became the 35th player in Arkansas history to score 1,000 career points and ended the year as just the fifth Razorback to ever score 1,000 points, grab 450 rebounds, block 75 shots and dish 100 assists. Those numbers put him in company with former Razorbacks Todd Day, Corliss Williamson, Scott Hastings and Ron Huery.

Just some scrub.
