C-Spire is poor mans wireless in Mississippi. People are so broke in the state that AT&T and other providers just said frick it we aren't investing in that state. Thus c-spire bought some communication equipment from the Russians dated 1970, and started providing service.

False. C spire bought out cellular South and provides the best coverage and package deals in the state. I have had both C spire and AT&T and C spire is better by a mile.
