What quality games has Mullen actually won other than the one Auburn game in 2014? Record against ranked opponents? I’ll say Jimbo..

He's not wrong. Mullen will have Florida going soon, but not this year. He's an excellent coach.

He def gets more from what he has than any other coach. At least while at State.
He also annoyed Ole Miss fans with "that school up north" bit, which is a plus.

Controversial opinion but I've always believed Mullen is a borderline top 5 coach in the country. He took over a really bad Mississippi State program when the SEC West was at the absolute height of its powers with three or four powerhouse teams and made them into a respectable football program without cheating or taking any shortcuts. It's one of the great coaching jobs ever and he's going to turn Florida into a powerhouse program in a couple years after cleaning up McElwain's mess.

To be fair, he took a bottom tier SEC school and built it into a very respectable team in the toughest division in college football during his time there. I mean, has State ever acheived a number 1 ranking before he was there?
Florida doesnt face the same kind of recruiting issues that State has (and will always have). Given time, he will get Florida back to its winning ways and will once again make the WLOCP the game that decides the East in the future.
