LSU fans. If you had to do it over again, would you have hired Marcus Freeman? He doesn’t switch up his accent, do strange dances with recruits, and demand the press to like him. Those are good reasons. Wouldn’t you say?
Oh, I almost forgot. He doesn’t make up recruiting excuses and can overcome perceived recruiting limitations.

Kelly was a meh hire. It was a safe hire.
Notre Dame is going to be better with Freeman, but I also got think Freeman owes a lot of Kelly for building that program back up to where it is now

LSU will do what LSU does. They will extract all they can out of Kelly and he will either win or he won't. If he doesn't, he's gone and they'll either take the ND coach if he is winning or take Jimbo by default since it's pretty obvious no coach wants to stay at A&M. Hell, Jackie Sherrill wouldn't even go back.
