Yes, big point Manziel.

But, if you don't think Tebow couldn't have easily pulled that(or better) if he wasn't gay/abstaining, you're mistaken.

true, but i'd go out on a limb and venture to say that any starting quarterback on a d1 football team, especially one as good as those two, could pull 10s all day long

No the difference was Manziel embraces the media exposure. Tebow seemed to not really care.

lol what? not saying manziel doesn't embrace the media exposure because he does, but you're kidding yourself if you don't think tebow loved it as well, if not more.

How much did you hear about Tebow his freshman year?

He was one of the biggest recruiting stories of all time. Every time he entered the game it was a huge deal. Do you remember the 2006 UF-UT game?

this. tebow was talked about plenty his freshman year, so much so that casual fans forget chris leak was the starter that year.

'm an LSU fan, and I don't have a daughter, but if I did- Tebow I would be thrilled to have come pick her up. Manziel I might shoot in the driveway.

Do you understand that literally every father in America would slaughter his son so he could offer his daughter to Tebow?

That doesn't make Tebow more likeable. That makes him more likeable to one demographic--dads with daughters 14-25.

LSU had no trouble with JFF

Sam Montgomery disagrees.

And the fact that the game ended with an onside kick cuts against your point, too.

Tebow showed class, humility, and appreciation/gratitude. Johnny - not so much.

Because he likes to attend basketball games and social events?

If you actually follow Manziel, you'll find that he's plenty appreciative of his blessings. He just doesn't apologize for them.

From where does this "half" figure derive?

Manziel is responsible for any press coverage he gets.

Come again?

Manziel answered a question about which classes he was taking at the Davy O'Brien awards.

Within minutes the ticker on ESPN prominently displayed the details of Manziel's online schedule.

Manziel attends popular sporting events. That doesn't necessitate media coverage.

The question was about Tebow's freshman coverage. The point was, everyone in college football knew of Tebow before he entered classes at UF. He had an ESPN documentary before he stepped foot on campus.

A&M scored a TD with under 30 seconds left to make it a one possession game. Before that it was a two possession game by my calculations. Kicking an onside kick does not make it a close game, breaux

JFF scored 0 TDs and had 4 turnovers. LSU defense had no problem with ur little qb

Manziel trolls all of you rednecks on a daily basis.

If I won the heisman I would do the same thing.

And? Everyone knew who Jimmy Clausen was, too.

The relevant coverage is that which is earned during your college career. JFF set records in high school the likes of which Tebow never sniffed. He just didn't receive much coverage--primarily because the pundits pegged him as a three star prospect. But that didn't keep him from becoming the most covered freshman ever.

Again, your defenders disagree.
