As an Aggie, I will admit all the running around, partying, etc. kinda gets on my nerves - mainly because I only wish I could have done all that as a college student.

While there is some merit to those saying he will have a soph. slump, after winning the Heisman anything short of a national championship would be considered a slump.

For those who say coaches will now have more time to scheme against him, stoops and saban practically had all season and they still looked frustrated on the sidelines as he weaved his way through their defenses.

Tebow may have him beat in the not-a-douche category, but I'll take Manziel on my team every day. The difference between them was the level of talent surrounding them.

LSU had no trouble with JFF

Beating tebow in 2007 was arguably the greatest game in LSU history

Skip Bayless doesn't want to have his children, unlike Tebow...so he's got that going for him.

Tebow was the douchebag that you hated but you knew he was special. Manziel is like a Justin Bieber kind of douchebag that you just wish would go away.

I usually hate players like Manziel, but I can't help but like the guy. He's not a douchebag like Tebow at all. Manziel is basically living the dream and doesn't try to push some sort of agenda on other people like Tebow does. He seems like a nice kid that gets along with everyone and likes to have a good time. He doesn't come off cocky to me either, and he also seems to get along with everyone. Honestly, I feel like the people that hate him or think he's a douchebag are either jealous or irrational. He has never come across, to me, as being the cocky primadonna that others with his type exposure have been.

go find me a quote (even from his twitter feed) where he says something cocky. if you actually read through his twitter history, he goes out of his way all the time to compliment other guys in college football and elsewhere. is he cocky because he posts pictures of himself similar to those posted by 99% of college kids these days? Is he cocky because he has the opportunity to do things other people can't? there are plenty of players of his stature I can't stand, but it's just hard for me to knock JM for doing what anyone (who's being honest with themselves) in his situation would do. So hot girls follow him around, he likes to go out and have a good time, famous athletes want to hang out with him, and his parents provide him with the opportunity to do things others can't. What a douchebag, right? I think its hilarious people hate him.

The only reason people hear about Manziel like they do is because of social media, not because he makes it a point to go on a religious crusade and make sure they tell everyone in America about it every week.

And let me add, I can't stand A&M or their fanbase, but it's hard for me not to like Manziel. Like I said, the people who hate him are jealous of what he has the opportunity to do or because of how good he is.

Eh, people in Ohio actually talked about Tebow during his college career. I never really hear Manziel mentioned between casual fans up here.
Point: Tebow

Oh, and something I noticed from the lady perspective:
every woman I knew in 06-09 wanted to frick Tebow(whether because they thought he was good looking or wanted to take his virginity).

Every comment I've heard about Manziel(albeit that's not a lot) is that he's ugly as shite.

Tebow didn't need talent around him. We've all watched Tebow move the ball down the field by himself. Trucking people like a damn fullback. When got fired up it was on.

Tebow's the one who dismantled us, not Manziel nor the Aggies.

The Guinness Book of World Records has had it's title changed to "JFF Facts".

Johnny Manziel actually fricks this.

Yes, big point Manziel.

But, if you don't think Tebow couldn't have easily pulled that(or better) if he wasn't gay/abstaining, you're mistaken.

No the difference was Manziel embraces the media exposure. Tebow seemed to not really care. Only loves two things it seems: the game and Jaysus

How much did you hear about Tebow his freshman year? Point Manziel. Also another point for his smoking hot girlfriends / hookups.

A good way of stating it.
