This was a very talented team, especially on the offensive and defensive lines, but State played 4 teams that hit 10 wins and beat none of them. They lost 3 of those 4 games by multiple touchdowns.

Nick Fitzgerald showed no improvement in the passing game despite bringing in another offensive coach.

How did Keytaon look in his limited action? Was there ever any talk of making the full time switch once you realized Fitz wasn't taking you to the promised land?

How do you lose to a team while allowing -15 rushing yards?

I want to enjoy it more after they were such delusional and naive shitheads last offseason, but of course my team lost to them so I don't have any credit to spend.

Before this offseason is up I might have to make a Florida sock and really go at them unless some UF fans step up and do it for me.

MSU's program is a disaster. What else is new?

Did Fitz win the Heisman? I think he had a shelf cleared off for it.

Some had State projected as 2nd in the west.

Fitz actually regressed.

I couldnt believe that when I heard it. Moorhead has been a joke so far.

This seems a bit strong, but it seems their window to compete is closing.

I mean this was the year. Defense as good as it will ever be, the offense was supposed to be locked and loaded with Fitz, the RBs and fresh faces at WR with a capable OLine...and they sucked on offense and blew what was a great a defense.

I thought he was a good QB last year, and not this year.

Compete for what?

A SEC title? There was no window for that.

Being the best team in Mississippi? With Ole Miss making good hires it does feel like that window is closing.

Why? Our best class in the last decade is this year’s?

Transition is always hard, look at Kirby year one. He inherited a 10-win team.

We’ll stay what we have been under Moorhead, average 8 win with a 9-10 win and 6 win sprinkled in.

Fitzgerald not getting a live rep till the second game of the season and Mullen completely neglecting to recruit a wr were the biggest problems this year.

Disappointing season, but people already calling Moorhead a failure are jumping the gun.

People forget the Fitz-led Mullen offense folded against any decent defense they played last year. We just played more decent defenses this year.

Even with good hires Ole Miss will be bad for at least 3 years.

They have no talent and they are not bringing any in this year.

They had enough talent to keep it close with Bama in 10/11 win season, similar to what UGA did. They weren't even close to that

Passing stats are almost identical.

The biggest issue for MSU was their offense not showing up at all against UF, LSU, Bama or UK. They scored in the SINGLE DIGITS all 4 of those games, that's half their SEC schedule.
