Since this is the last time this year it will be discussed and I don't usually start post about the subject, I feel I need to post final comments. So I will say this once, I told you so.
The BB Experiment worked as long as the Pats D could dominate the opposing Offense.
The Dink and Dunk game plans look good from a statistical standpoint, but if you get behind you are toast.
Jones can throw the 5 yard pass with a high completion percentage, but the deep ball was never a threat.
Belichick will be looking at retirement soon. I think the last 5 weeks have opened his eyes.

I heard that he'll be playing next year. And likely the Pats starting QB.

That will really drive Bill crazy becsuse it will be the new status quo. If zBrady makes it to the SB this year, BB is done.

Everything you predicted about the Patriots in the preseason was incorrect. So you continued to move the goal post.
You started out with, "Cam will be qb 1", that blew up..then it was "no way the Pat's have a winning season", then "they'll never make the playoffs" etc..
You talked about the "dink and dunk" only to watch Mac steadily improve and end up throwing the ball about the same as Patrick Mahomes in depth of completion.. lol
Then it was..he's just riding a great defense..
The Patriots had a winning season, went to the playoffs .
The last month, the defense has been woeful..but in 3 of 4 games, had the defense just gotten 1 stop..Mac and the offense would have gotten the ball with a chance to win.
So here you are..on a night when the Pat's defense gave up 7 consecutive TDs..attempting to somehow say.."I told y'all Mac sucks"..
Man, you should have just left it alone.
Mac will be back next year, hopefully his best receiver won't be a converted college QB.. we'll see.
But if he doesn't lead the Patriots to a perfect season, Im sure you'll be here to tell us all how "right you are".

They rode the D to most of those wins. The experiment failed and the D fell apart late in the season. They beat three teams with a winning record.

The experiment was good enough to get to the playoffs with a Rookie QB.
It'll only be better next season.

Where will the Offense get better? He has no deep ball and was told to get ball out of his hand quickly. BB didn't trust him to throw deep. It was obvious all year. Add that the D will be one year older, you can't fix that over night.

Buffalo scored a TD every position except to kneel out the clock. Tom Brady wouldn’t have made a difference in this one.

Mac Jones had a pretty solid rookie year. They’re kinda limited at WR and the defense was just not good. I don’t think it is reasonable for people to expect a rookie to outgun an MVP candidate with more offensive talent around him.
Of course, this is internet shitposting but I feel a lot better about Mac’s future than Tua’s.
