He scored 2 more over 3 games - that is 0.667 more per game!

Texas was ranked in the top 10 when LSU played them. Whatever happens after that is not in LSU control. Just like if Saban actually played a true road game out of conference and not be a pussy and play all neutral site games. You can’t answer bc under Saban they don’t play road games out of conference.

He scored more. That is the point lol. Mac semi dominated. Burrow fully dominated. Plus 0 turnovers compared to Mac’s 2.

Once again, and to be more clear, some QBs can score TDs running the ball

Here is the stat that ends all stats. Who won the Heisman? Mac or Joe? Let’s see if you answer that lol.

Mac has a higher winning percentage and led the offense which score more points per game.

I have made no other claims - if you want to dispute those stats take it up with the ESPN stat keepers!

Mac fully dominated? Lol. Wow. Put down the crimson and white sunglasses and throw the whiskey bottle away. Saban could have put anyone at QB and he would have had those stats. Burrow dominated and had to make plays on his own. The play against UGA that solidified his Heisman. The 7 first half TDs that crushed OU. He could have had 10 in that game had LSU wanted to but they pulled up and ran the ball more. The run at end of first half against Clemson on 3rd and long with no timeouts and getting out of bands was as big balls as any. Mac just does a little toss pass to Smith and he scores. Wooo. So hard to throw that. I mean must take lots of practice to get that 2 yard pass accurate.

When you play a road game on campus the home team generally pays you enough money to cover your travel expenses (so usually a few hundred thousand).

Alabama got 6 milion to play USC in Arlington in 2016 and was getting the same in 2020 had it happened.

They are getting $5 million to play in Atlanta next year and the same to play in 2017 vs FSU. Not our fault these cities want Alabama to come play.

Alabama also has home and homes now scheduled with Texas, Oklahoma, Arizona, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. Many with two of those games in the same season.

Outside of Texas who has LSU played on the road? Oh yeah Syracuse and West Virginia. Hasn't LSU also played the second most neutral site games of SEC teams? Oregon, Wisconsin x2, TCU, BYU, Miami, North Carolina, etc.

Deflector shields are activated for you huh. I ask a question. You say “these other stats....” lol. I could imagine the season Burrow would have had if had to play in front of high school crowds. Burrow probably would have dropped 70 on Bama with no crowd at Bama.

I have never argued that 2019 LSU was not a great team, but this argument about Texas being top 10 is just bad. That team has no need to pad stats.

I will say It was really smart of LSU to schedule that game In a year Texas would be top 10 (whether deserved or not). I don’t know how they knew, but they really nailed it. Did you plan to play a sucky UCLA next year knowing you’d be coming off a bad season?

With the neutral site games, you have to schedule them much closer to when you play the game to know it is going to be a good team (even then, sometimes you get stuck with Duke).

If LSU can’t claim the Texas win, Bama can’t claim the ND win. When was the last time ND won a new year 6 Bowl? Or any game that had meaning in the last 20 years?
Are you willing to admit that is not a credible win?

Are you trying to disparage the LSU offensive players now to make Burrow seem like he was just throwing to nobody's? I am confused with this tactic.

Didn't the LSU offensive line win the Joe Moore Award, didn't they have the Biletnikoff winner and the receiver who just had one of the best rookie NFL WRs. Oh ya and a 1st round draft pick RB?

Mac could have had had more TD's in the playoffs but it isn't what the team needed cause they fully dominated and controlled the games and didn't have to throw it around in the 2nd half.

Dude averaged about 5TDs and 80% completion each game - fully dominant!

If you think anyone can just walk in and do what Mac did you are foolish

Mac dropped multiple deep balls against LSU. You are either a total troll or a f-ing idiot. Oh wait...you're a LSU fan so you're both.

I mean you have to give me more than 2 minutes to post lol.

But anyway I'm done and thank you everyone for participating in my Mac "Fully Dominant in the Postseason" Jones appreciation thread!

I def would not call the 2nd Wisconsin game a neutral site game lol. It was in Wisconsin. It was not a road game but no where near a neutral site game. LSU has played neutral site games bc of money. Also LSU has played more out of conference road games compared to Bama. There is no argument on that.

One QB played in the SEC/CFP and had 16 TDs and 0 ( ZERO) turnovers. The other played in SEC/CFP and had less TDs and 2 turnovers. Which one would you say was DOMINANT? The 1st QB won the Heisman. Just wondering who that could be? Could you answer that one for me? Lol
