Of course that was in high school and just one competition, with Lawrence deserving of his 5 star rating overall and has proven it at Clemson. But here is a skinny Mac Jones flashing, and fast forward 4 years with physical development of 35 added pounds, and maturity, bearing fruit.

You say he's getting fat, I say he's durable with added protection.

If Trevor Lawrence was 6'1'' he'd be a no name at Wake Forest right now.

That being said I laughed when the Chargers drafted Justin Herbert and now he's about to lead my team to a title so what the hell do I know.

I'm not sure I'd call raiding Saban's Little Debbies stash for 4 years "physical development", but I love Mac nonetheless.

You're aware that Herbert is 1-4 as a starter and your team is in the Chief's division?

He subscribed to the peanut butter diet McCarron was on. Mac just took it too far.

Mac has the body of an 1950's NFL QB.

I'm not saying they aren't losses, but considering all the games have been close must be giving Chargers fans hopes for the future.

Do the qbs at Bama ever bench press? Looks like Mac has never seen the inside of a weight room.

He’s probably referring to fantasy football

In college Herbert looked great in no pressure situations. Whenever the heat was on or the pressure picked up , he faded. I don’t think he will ever be a “clutch” QB. He will have a career similar to Jeff George. Great stats but no hardware.
