Sad part is, you know it ain't gonna happen. Tua's injury was the worst thing to happen to Auburn. Gus is gonna pull it off.

Mac got a DUI early in his days in tuscaloosa and many thought he would never make it out of sabans dog house and ultimately transfer somewhere else.
From that DUI...part of his sentence was to, i believe, volunteer at a homeless kitchen/shelter. After he had completed his service, he has stayed on as a volunteer worker. I think last yr his parents visited for Thanksgiving and they all had dinner at the center.

I can’t remember Saban ever starting a bad quarterback and from what I've seen of Jones he looks good and I don’t know why people are hating on him. He’s got great mechanics and throws a nice ball.

In fairness I doubt Saban would have recruited JPW. JP was the only choice he could go with. I mean he went 12-0 with JP and only lost to UF and Utah that last year. JP was serviceable although in 07 their record wasn’t good with JP. So it’s 50/50. I wouldn’t be surprised if Mac puts up crazy numbers. His mechanics look NFL crisp.
