On Sunday evening, Associated Press college football writer reported on Twitter that Satterfield’s name has surfaced. “The one interesting and not so obvious name that comes up when you ask around about the South Carolina opening is Scott Satterfield of Louisville.” Satterfield, in his second season with the Cardinals was a player and assistant coach at Appalachian State in Boone, N.C, before serving as the program’s head coach for six seasons. He is well liked and has many connections in that Carolinas region.

I actually think Saterfield would be a good hire. He has an explosive offense, he knows the Carolina area and I'm sure he could find someone to run the defense.
Louisville's starting running back opted out of the season today, maybe he knew something.
