In the series record, the largest shutout win belongs to Aggie 52-0.

Good to see this rivalry rekindled.

Fun fact. That 52-0 shut out was in 1899, forty years before the a&m National championship. It’s been 82 years since then.

Wow, the rivalry goes far back! Great history between these two teams.

Honestly-this rivalry is the best to come out of the expansion. I look forward to watching this game every year.

We're not rivals with those frickers. We just hate them and post about them alot and take great joy in their hardship. But we're NOT rivals, dammit. Really. We're not. I mean it.

I can't tell if this is a troll or self-troll. Hits home either way.

Damn, maybe we are rivals.

1899-2099

Go jump on Auburn’s leg. They might respect y it enough to have a rivalry.

Then try miss state. Then try the black bears.

well the series has to be close for it to be a rivalry

A&M leads 9-4-1 at Kyle (.692 win percentage for A&M)
neutral site is 3-4-1 (very close to 50/50)
LSU leads 26-10-1 in Baton Rouge (.722 win percentage for LSU)

So, if you correct for the fact that the vast majority of games have been played in BR, the series is fairly close to 50/50.

Home and homes must have been taken very seriously in the early 20th century. I can't believe LSU got away with such corruption in the 1910s and 20s

LSU leads 34-22-3 all time
Longest win streak 7 games by LSU

We are their daddy. We are disappointed in how they turned out to be gays but you can’t help how your children turn out.

A&M reminds be of a travel ball kid whose parents have gone so overboard with positive affirmation that the kid is unrealistic about his own abilities.

Growing as a huge A&M fan, playing LSU early or to begin the season and the horns to end it was awesome. People will always argue the rivalry status, but there are undeniable aspects of one between the two West schools just not arch-rivals. There's a generation gap for all the younger folks who didn't get to enjoy the games and probably think football started in the 2000s when LSU turned it around and A&M was in the desert.

the fact LSU owns head to head or the fact LSU has more titles since 2019 than the aggies have total.
