No? Why would it? Barrett helped lead Ohio St to a natty after Miller went down and broke records in the big 10. The Ohio St fanbase was calling for Burrow to start but the wrist injury messed up his chance and Haskins took over as backup.

It's not out of the question that LSU will field a top 5 defense this year. No one would question Aranda's competence, and there is talent there.
The fact of the matter is LSU just upgraded at the QB position. Does this make Orgeron a competent coach, or solidify the trajectory of LSU football in a positive direction? No, but LSU is better than it was yesterday.

I would say taking a one game sample at a different program with different dynamics at play is moving the goal post more than overall track record, but to each their own.

I'm as big of an LSU fan as there is but everytime I read any variation of fear smelling I cringe. We got a gift with Burrows and it greatly improves our qb position regardless how you view it. As an LSU fan I have seen our fans come in here since the Burrows news broke to say look at me look at me and everytime another fan base reacts they are being told of their fear. Pretty embarrassing. We got great news yesterday. News I think most Tiger fans are excited over. Looking forward to the season.

For some reason I always forget Mett and Murray were class of 2009.
