Coming on the heels of starter Kary Vincent opting out of the 2020 season. Questions begin to rise in the locker room as several players have left the team in the past few weeks. Ed Oregon looks to build confidence as uncertainty mounts in Baton Rouge

LSU junior defensive end Justin Thomas has left the team, head coach Ed Orgeron said on Tuesday during a Zoom press conference with local reporters. "
Justin Thomas is no longer with us, he's left the team," Orgeron said. "It's unfortunate."
The news come one week after LSU defensive end Neil Farrell chose to opt out of the 2020 season. There was a point when both Farrell and Thomas were talked up as LSU's potential starters at defensive end for the 2020 season.

LSU may only win 7 games this year. Imagine how much that must suck.

Your obsession with LSU is strange. You pay attention to us more than your own teams. (Bama and ATM)

Like I said, defensive end depth is looking a little shaky over there. How many total tackles have the 9 players here recorded? Not sure why you even listed Thomas when the thread is about him leaving

4 tackles and 0.5 sacks in his career at LSU.

Compared to Pokey Taylor's Alabama obsession, the poster is only casually interested in LSU

Thomas hardly played. Losing him is no different than losing any of those listed behind him.

He’s right. No Defensive End in the SEC should be 225 pounds.

That would be why they're 3rd and 4th on the depth chart.

Looks like they are 2nd and 3rd now
Is this the part where you convince me that 230 pound freshman Ojulari will take the CFB world by storm?

Thomas said he just got tired of winning all the time. Sources say he is considering a transfer to Texas a&m.

It's a 4 man front, not a 3 man. That means one of the "DE's" is, for practical purposes, an edge-rusher/outside linebacker.

Because DEs can't be moved?

Nah. I'd remind you that Moore is now listed at over 240.

Nice to know how many non LSU fans follow LSU football.

The correct thing to state is unproven talent. We have depth but it is unproven.
