LSU wrapping up a very successful 20 year stretch.

Starting in 2000 with Saban's 1st year. If we win it all this this year, (after Alabama) it may be the best program of the last 20 years.
20 Winning seasons
5 SEC Championships
3 National Championships (maybe, but I dont believe in jinxes)
13-7 Bowl games
I just turned 40, so this all started when I was 19 and a Junior at LSU.

When your "bad" years are 9-3/8-4 then you are in pretty good all around shape. That's basically been LSU since 2002.

I mean, seasons of 10-3, 8-5 and then 9-3 got the previous coach fired. 90% of the programs in the country would give up kidneys for that type of stretch.

Amen brother. I grew up under Mike Archer, Curly Halkman, Gerry Dirardo.
If Bama didnt have their dynasty then LSU would have been the top SEC team of the last 2 decades. We've had a great run.
Competing for 4 national championships in the 20 years is pretty impressive unless your Alabama or Clemson.
