In an alternate turn of events, Mark Richt and Les Miles would have their teams on a collision course to Atlanta right now.

Miles would have lost a much closer game in Starkville but pulled out a W against Bama, putting his team in position to face off an undefeated Mark Richt UGA team for the title.

Instead we get coach O being coach O and Miami being a thing again. Thanks.

None of that would have happened.

Miles would not have come close to beating Bama. He wouldn't have lost by 30 to State and he would have beat Troy, but he'd also have lost to Auburn.

LSU would be in the same position, just with a worse SEC record.

Can this shite please stop?

It's far enough out with Georgia that we don't have a clue how the younger side of the team would look.

Richt probably has the same team at 7-1 with a loss to someone else but still, this game can no longer be played.

I think he also would have dropped one to Ole Miss or Arkansas.

I think LSU goes 10-2 with Les Miles. So LSU went from more of the same to...close to more of the same.

Under Miles we'd still have Cam Cameron. No way Cameron coaches this offense to only 2 losses.
