I was told by LSU fans in here that they were getting a #1 seed even if they lost to us. I was even told I didn't understand how the NET rankings worked. I disagreed and stated your weak sos would hurt you. I was right.

I don’t think anyone was denying that, but this may look quite different two years from now. Mulkey is ahead of schedule in just her second year.

Mulkey's "ahead of schedule" does not completely compensate for the gap we already have. Next yr could be tough. If all of our seniors decide to leave (and none have made a decision yet, including Aliyah), we lose a lot. But ppl seriously underestimate the talent we already have in place set to step in.
The seniors that would be WNBA bound make as much NIL $$ as they would make 1st yr salary in the WNBA. To stay one more yr is not losing income *as long as they stay healthy.* (and yeah, that's definitely a risk)

Gnash, Mulkey Dude .... will LSU make the SECWBB CG? Possible rematch before March Madness sets-in.
Would a win or loss in the SEC Tourney have any bearing on your season?
Sometimes a humiliating public beatdown, like the one y'all took yesterday, can have lingering negative affects on a team. Could be that Angel Reece was especially mentally impacted after all the trash talking she's been doing and then seeing her NPOTY hopes dashed in one fell swoop ... like happenrd yesterday.
Mulkey was worried about it before the game obviously. Her worst nightmares came true in many ways.
Did Reece's double-double streak continue?

Pretty good chance. I predicted a 20 point win for SC, so no surprise there. SC is clearly the best team in the country. Just good to see LSU’s NET ranking did not change, as expected, with the loss. Probably and fairly a 2 seed still. Only an SEC title could get LSU to a 1 seed in my opinion.
