I know it’s a bit late but I just had to get this off my chest. I can just remember how proud I was of our team for keeping it so close when Chandler Cantanzaro kicked the game winning field goal for Clemson. I remember so fondly how it took every muscle in my body to prevent myself from littering the rant with threads commending our team on their great close loss to a proud program. Good times and I’m glad A&M got to share in such joy this weekend because I know that exciting feeling first hand.

This is the real turning point for Clemson and Dabo.

We're the ones who had been suppressing them for year. Then this happens combined with Spurrier checking out.

Pretty sure that's the game where Clemson took that next step.

This game changed everything. Clemson beats Georgia the next year at home to kick off a run to the Orange Bowl and a win over Urban Meyer and Ohio State.

Next year they briefly retool after Taj Boyd departs with Cole Stoudt and a freshman DeShaun Watson (who got hurt midseason)

Then boom, playoffs every year and a national title to boot.

That was a huge choke job by a Vegas favorite

No similarity to aTm Saturday night

You should be embarrassed to bring it back up

This game was also the beginning of the end for Les Miles.

The beginning of the Dabo Era at Clemson. The beginning of the end for les miles although i think that happened in 2014, also lsu caused Spurrier to check out.

So I guess lsu is responsible for the rise of Clemson football.
