LSU fan: it’s great to be the 2019 best of all time in college football history 15-0 national champion!

Bama fan: first ever 11-0 SEC champion, another national championship, no asterisk, best ever players assembled, Saban is the greatest of all time!

I’m jealous. It’s nice to have accolades to back up the trash talk. Meanwhile, over here.....

OU fan: back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back Big XII champions! 4 Playoff appearances! Texas is our B! Cotton Bowl Champs!

Texas fan: yeah, well, just wait until we are back again and are number one in Texas again!

SEC is caviar. Big XII is whole chicken in a can.

It's always fun to prod the horns.

Truly a shitshow with too many shotcallers all pulling failure to their direction.

Laughed when I heard ehllinger cried when horn couldn't rematch LSU.

Yes, you nailed it, it's the Sooners and the 9 dwarfs. But the Sooners have hardly cornered the market on having a conference to themselves. Ohio State is the only legitimate threat in the B1G conference. Clemson is home alone in the ACC, and the pac 12 these days can't even get to the party with their one top .

In the SEC it's the greatest show on turf. Alabama is the flagship. But Florida, LSU, the barn, all come with national credentials, and the talent, coaching, revenue, going into Georgia and TAMU make them legit contenders. It's by far the best conference and the hardest to survive. Makes for volatile conversation I guess.

What's the word on Lincoln Riley? I saw where he's being considered for the Eagles job.

It’s supposed to be a jab more than anything. We brag about winning stuff that’s nowhere near as big as what LSU and Alabama have recently done.

I just don’t see how a coach would want to leave top tier programs like:

Oklahoma
OSU
LSU
USC
Alabama
Clemson
Oregon
Uga
Florida

For Philadelphia.

We’re baaaaaack to boooo hoooo
LSU is an attractive opponent that Texas wants to play, to the point where their players are disappointed when they can’t play LSU.

Can’t say that for horn’s instate competition.

While I personally can't agree with this more. The NFL is a prime destination if you're a coach. Full support staff, unlimited budget (for the most part) and no recruiting. You actually get to enjoy a month or two of an off season to enjoy all that money you are making.

That said, going to Philly is would be tough from a professional standpoint. They just fired a coach that won the first Suoerbowl in their history two season ago. Their expectations are completely outsized for where the franchise is at the current time.
