I see most of the mouth breathers on here are still in the denial phase. Next week is going to be glorious when Lincoln is announced, going to be The Great Melt of 2021.

I don’t think anyone will know until the end. Woodward tends to be very closed in his process. Only reason we at A&M knew about Fisher was other sources, and those people knew after the UCLA game. It didn’t become apparent until later on. Same can be said about his hires at LSU
I think it will be more apparent after Saturday. My bet is on Riley but the baseball hire was out of left field. Nobody was remotely right until near the end

Finally a smart and honest LSU poster. Riley is a splash hire but I think that is all to be excited about. Guy is not proven he can win big games outside of the turn of the Big 12 conference.
Better off with Campbell as he has proven he can do more, with less. Give him the LSU roster, who knows what success he can have. Better coach for SEC style of foots too.
Riley, Kiffin and the Pirate are perfect for one another! Pod those 4 together. Let em fight it out and claim superiority. Then let's see what happens outside of that pod.

LSU is going to hire a really good coach and pay him as much if not more than Nick.

If not for the fact OU is coming to the SEC then I believe he would stick with OU. All the instate talent waiting to sign for him at LSU will be a big plus for taking the job.

I have Riley and Aranda at the top of my list now that the "search" is showing some true potential candidates. LSU has not had a true Offensive minded coach for as long as I can remember and Riley would bring that excitement to Tiger Stadium. DA is beloved in BRT, and with the right OC he would kill in the SEC. LSU will be a force to reckon with should either of them be named as head coach.

Yeah, I can see it happening. He’s got a QB circle jerk with Rattler and the other guy. Best thing to do is bail out with a big raise.
