And could you ever have imagined that it would turn out the way that it has? Was the current state of your program even a blip on your radar a little over a year ago?

It has been a pretty steep freefall.

Honestly I figured we would be working on a solid 10-2 or 9-3 season. Now we’ll be doing well to get to 6-6.

The same as every year, 10 wins, top 10 finish and a NY6 bowl. That's how LSU recruits. That should be the floor.

I was prepared for every outcome because Orgeron is the coach. The coordinators were complete wold cards.

I was thinking 9-3 range. Now 5-7 is a possibility. This coaching staff is quite the dumpster fire. It’s pretty sad because we have talent in a lot of places.

I expected a rough season with a bowl bid which would have happened with non conference games in 2020

It's going exactly as expected for me minus the Ucla loss. Minus 2019, Orgeron has been inconsistent and clueless. And has made terrible hires.

I knew when he hired Bo Pelini and Ensminger the only adult left in the room left the ship wasn't getting fixed. Plus the culture is broken.

I expected that Alabama fans would still be obsessed with LSU on Oct 6, 2021!

LSU has had 3 top 5 recruiting classes in a row. Tell me why those shouldn't be the expectations. LSU has been one of the best teams in the country over the last 20 years. Those are the expectations. It's why Miles got fired and it's why Orgeron will get fired.

I get why an Arkansas fan wouldn't understand it.

I really thought 10 wins was a strong possibility, even with the roster turnover. Obviously covid had some negative impacts.

No way. This is a collapse, and I think it's more of a personal one for Ed.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was drinking again.

Half of the 2019 class is already gone. Only 4 or 5 from 2018 remain. Probably 4 or 5 from the 2020 class are gone.

9-3 season and hoping O had it figured out and the next year was going to one to look forward to.

What this guide said is literally what my whole friend group expected.

We've had 3 straight top 5 recruiting classes so 9/10 win season seems like that should be bar none expectation.

I was personally never a fan of O. I also think the CEO model is dumb as frick. Oregon and Arkansas will learn that soon.

Not really. There’s just some similarities (minus the NC) to ‘99 SEC champ Bama being the preseason #3 ranked team in ‘00 and then going 3-8. I was pumped for that season, certainly the day before the UCLA game. And then the season turned into a slow motion train wreck. It fricking sucked.

It's a bit harsh to judge a man by hires that he didn't interview.

I thought we’d go 8-2 (we were that retarded mizzou game and the state ambush away from 7-3)

This year 10-2
