Brody Miller said that there was a big issue with depression amongst the freshmen this year. Due to COVID and not having learned different outlets like the older players.

I think the dude has all the talent in the world and the sky is the limit for him.
I also think that he plays pretty "soft" for his size, isn't a good blocker, and is prone to disappear for stretches of games. I also think he's dealing with some mental issues.
Luckily, he's only a kid and has plenty of time to become great.

Love all LSU players if they wanna be here. If they don't, frick em. If he wants to wear the colors of royalty, I'd love to have him back. If he doesn't, it won't bother me one bit. Same goes for Ricks or any other player that transfer or opts out.

This is so dumb.
You're judging him like he's an experienced senior. He's never had to block like we asked him to in his life, that takes time to learn and coaches raved about his work ethic. It isn't that he didn't want to block, that was completely fabricated by TigerDroppings mouthbreathers.
He DEFINITELY doesn't play soft, that is fricking stupid.
And he put up great stats for a TE, much less a freshman TE. He "disappeared" in games because we had a true freshman QB behind a shitty line and a terrible PGC that misused him. They took him out the game against Missouri and threw a seam route to Tory Carter in the end zone instead out of the TE spot.
Kid is dealing with bi-polar disorder and had an episode. A vocal, small minority of our fans acted like petulant children when his mom pulled him out of school to take care of him. A vast majority of our fans were sad to see him go and would be happy to have him back, but understand he needs to do what is best for him.
Kid is a super star. Absolute freak, top 15 pick in the NFL draft. His teammates loved him as well. We should welcome him back with open arms and if he goes elsewhere, we better pray it isn't to a team we play in the next 2 years.

I never said it was his fault that he isnt a good blocker, just stated that he isn't a good blocker which is true at this point in his career.

He definitely plays somewhat softer than his size would indicate, much like Jimmy Graham. To be fair though, could be because he's a true freshman, who knows.
