Both LSU and OU have and will continue to have better football programs than tamu. It doesn't matter what idiots pay your coach, pay for a new stadium, or how much money you have. If that mattered and that's all it took, yall would have been good a long time ago. We will just continue kicking yalls asses on the field.

Maybe Oklahoma should hire their d-line coach to be the head coach. That would be some savings.

No you won't. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. It's coming and there's nothing you can do to stop it

I mean, they basically did do that with Lincoln Riley.

Yet another LSU reference by the "not-obsessed-with-LSU" Texas A&M fan.

This is where you find out who the real power players are. Some of these schools are joining the arms race and have no business doing so. LSU and OU are fine programs but the bottom line is the money isn't there like with other schools. Did OU really need the new locker rooms and fancy weight room? Did LSU really need to expand their stadium? They can't even sell out their tickets.

If you can't expand the sttadium, build a new wing to the football ops center and build an entirely new locker room and have 50 million left over, you don't need to do it.

Auburn certainly has no favor with me but they do have common sense. They've left JHS alone because they don't need more than 87000 seats. They did build a new basketball arena, which they needed but they kept it very small and very no frills. Whoever down there is making the decisions is making very responsible fiscal ones. Penn State is shrinking it's capacity. These are sound decisions by the AD's.

Michigan, Bama, Texas, Texas A&M are having bazillions roll in and can afford it. Most can't. We may finally be seeing an end to the arms race.

If you actually think the OU or LSU ADs are short on money, not sure what else there is to say to you. Normally one would assume you’re trolling, but given the length of your post, I’m leaning towards your being sincere in that opinion. The LSU AD gives back around $15MM every year to the University.
