An LSU troll attempt devoid of any corndog or piss balloon mentions?

2 / 10. Someone's taken too many bare knuckles at the local Sonic.

You saying all this will NOT make this season any easier for you against LSU. We have 5*s at every position 4*s behind them, a senior QB (go back and look what LSU has done with senior QBs no matter if you think they are average).

We have more leadership then we did last year. We have the best DC in CFB, and now an offensive scheme which will move the ball no matter how you try to defend.

Give LSU an OC who schemes for TDs with the talent and you have a great season. You're kidding yourself if you think our LBs are ok and our DL is ok. Lmfao

My point is simply that LSU has underperformed for years (not lived up to their rating/ranking and, thus, has been over-rated).

The teams that can beat LSU have been Auburn, uf and bama. All teams that recruit really well. The only team LSU has struggled against with a talent advantage is Arkansas.

There are several teams that may end up ranked ahead of LSU that wouldn't beat them. Sec teams generally play a tougher schedule. Beat each other.

Also pretty sure LSU is the only program, in the sec at least, over the last 16 years or so to win 8 or more games every year.

Seems to me that almost every top program has been overrated at times during that stretch.

The whole argument is hat you haven't been elite since 2011, and hat you've been over-rated since then. Look at your own data shared and tell me that point is a blatant myth. You moved the goal post to pre-2011

Let me show you how once again you are a liar

Average finish since 2012 by AP (if you finished unranked I used the ranking of 35)

1. Bama (3)
2. LSU(18.4)
3 USC (23.4)
T4. AU (23.6)
T4. UF (23.6)
6. UGA (23.8)
7. A&M (25.6
8. OM (26.4)
9. Mizzou (29)
10 UT (29.8)
11. MSU (30.2)
12. vANDY (30.4)
T13. arky (35)
t13. uk(35)

So once again, Mediocre LSU is second in the SEC since 2012 in terms of average finish. And I guarantee we are top 10 nationally.

So the rhetoric LSU has been mediocre as a program since 2011 is a simple lie.

eta:

Just did the research. LSU is 8th nationally in terms of average finish since 2012

1. Bama (3)
2. OSU (5.2)
3. Clem (7.4)
4. FSU (7.6)
5. OK (13.2)
6. OR (13.4)
7. MSU (16.8)
8. LSU (18.4)

Most LSU fans have pretty reasonable expectations. I'm thinking 9-3 is probably a fair prediction, but of course I'm hoping for 12-0. What fan wouldn't?

I think your post should be directed to the USA Today. They're the ones that predicted 10-2

It wasn't a serious post. Everyone in the country knows darn good and well that LSU is a serious threat to any team at anytime. The fans in the SEC HOPE for the fall of LSU but even with the fall of LSU no other team has taken Bama's place at the top. LSU is really the only team to come close the last few years to even beating them consistently.

This season is a toss up because no one truly knows how LSU will respond to the changes. LSU fans of course think positively, SEC fans of course think negetively but that doesn't change what will actually happen and I have seen totally different team in the spring and especially this fall. This team actually has more true leaders on it then last year. That will bold well for the Tigers and might push them to a few wins they may have lost otherwise.

Watch out SEC the Tigers aren't sleeping through this offseason. This is the most serious team I've seen since 2007. Guys are emerging everyday. It's going to be a fun season for LSU fans in 2017 and it's really about time.

If you want to move the goalpost to include another decade, it only weakens your argument. The last couple of seasons is a really small window. You know LSU was more relevant that Bama in the 2000's so of course you only want to use the most recent data. Let lsupride87 do the same comparison back to 2000 and see what it does. Ah that's right, Bama had a few wins vacated in those years, and Auburn had a few really shitty underperforming years as well. LSU the only real consistent team over the past 15 years.

I think you are trying too hard to not be a homer. LSU has a lot of talent and had a good recruiting year. I think LSU is a 10 plus win team this easy. I might change my mind after the season(and I actually see them play), but right now I would pick them over everybody but Bama in the west.

If you have a top 10 recruiting class for 10 + years you expect to be top 10 and competing for championships. So expectations should always be high and as far as delusion, you are on an internet site where all dipwads are delusional.

Liar is a strong word there. I may (we'll see) have been mistaken, but I'm not Hugh Freeze. Not a liar.

I don't think I said mediocre. Think I said over-rated. You've underachieved and if you can't admit that then you're delusional, as the OP stated.

I think LSU has easily been the #2 program in the SEC since 2011 (or 2010 as you used). Not a question. My point was that it should've been a close 2nd based on your talent, and it wasn't. You weren't a close 2nd and, therefore, underachieved/were over-rated.

Exactly and here's the thing, LSU absolutely has questions but so does every other team including Bama. Bama has just been so consistent with questions that everyone assumes the best which they have earned.

No other SEC team can say that. We were very close to beating Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida, and Bama. We have a senior QB who didn't start the year but finished it with good numbers. We have an huge upgrade at OC, leadership, and young talent everywhere. Guys who were #1 or at least tops at their position. DL is loaded with the emergence of Herron, who was a 5* himself, along with LaCouture, Alexander, Lawrence, Gilmore, Logan, and we hearing great thigs about Ferrell, and Thomas. LB has more talent Key, White, Alexander, Martin, Anthony, Thornton, Divinity, Voorhies, Thompson, Chassion, Queen, Phillips, and Taylor. DB is deepest. OL has lots of talent but is a bit short on depth. RB is 3 deep or more. TE/FB/Hback is the deepest on offense then I'm hearing lots from the WRs this year as well not so much young but just haven't played in games yet. The WR group has loads of talent though. Drake, Chark, Dillon, Sullivan, Gage, and then the freshman.
