If you had told me back when Miles was here, that those 2 things would be true, I would have asked you where you got your shrooms.
What’s something about your favorite team that you never would have guessed 10 years would be happening currently (or very recently)?

I don't think anyone could have predicted the QB coach at Southern Illinois would be the man that replaces Nick Saban.

10 Years Ago I'd have thought it would be drunk Sark breaking all these driving laws and not Georgia Players.

LSU played Eastern Michigan in 2015 and the QB coach was Deboer
I don't think anyone had that as their next Bama coach
No different then when LSU hired Saban, no one knew he would be the greatest coach ever coming from Michigan St

Miles teams would have won the national championship with 2018 Burrow and 2022 Daniels.

10 years ago... 2014?
We had Saban for so long, but honestly at that point I had no idea how long he'd go before retiring. I doubt I would have predicted this SPECIFIC year to be the one with a new coach.
I doubt you could have told me we replaced Saban at the end of the past season, got a coach from the west coast, and that he beat the #2 team and at-the-time favorite to win the playoff.

Saban caught us all off guard. And yeah great win for DoBoer

Think again on qbu…. You’re not even close to OU White, Bradford, Mayfield, Murray, Hurts , 4 Heismans and one runner up …..

The Position U thing is about putting successful players at that the position in the NFL, not how they played in college. Burrow and Daniels>>>>Journeyman Mayfiled and TO machine Hurts. Bradford was mid and LOL at White.
With that said, I don't think we are QBU.

White, Bradford, Mayfield, Murray, Hurts
White - never made NFL
Bradford - mediocre at absolute best in NFL
Mayfield - finally a good NFL QB after being average NFL QB for years.
Murray - sometimes looks elite, other times looks bad. Very inconsistent.
Hurts - started off really well but last 10-15 games has been rough
So quantity over quality I guess

Ok.
Not the 2018 or 2022 teams, the QBs.
If he would have. Had 2018 Joe Burrow or 2023 Daniels on one of his teams he would have won the national championship. That was the only part missing from all of Miles teams is a good QB.

Gonna take this one back to 2007....
Saban would retire last season with 6 national championships after everyone said he was an above average coach (who had one lucky season at LSU) and would never win anything of value at Bama. Plus Tuberville would run him out of the conference. Tuberville is now a senator.

Current dude. Keyword is current. And let’s calm down on flexing Jason White and Sam Bradford shall we?
Also, full body of work: how’s that elite prospect Jackson Arnold looking? Heisman candidate? No? Oh…
As for guys in the league:
So far:
Daniels > Baker
Burrow >> Kyler
A sack of potatoes > Hurts

Please, Mayfield currently better than Burrow and Daniel.
Current wins mean something.

Daniels and Burrow both have high completion % than Baker. JD is leading NFL by nearly 10 points.
JD has higher QB Rating than Baker. Burrow right behind Baker.
JD and Burrow have significantly higher QBR than Baker.
Only thing Baker is leading on is TDs, 10 vs JD and Burrow’s 7. JD also has 218 yards on ground so far.
Would love for you to explain to us how Baker is currently better than both these guys.
